Job summary

Wesfarmers Health is seeking a Senior People Advisor to join the People Operations & Advisory team. This 16‑month, part-time role (ideally 3 days per week) will provide specialist employee relations advice, lead complex case management, and support leaders across the business to deliver fair, high‑quality people outcomes.

You’ll act as an escalation point for our offshore team, strengthen leadership capability, and drive improvements to processes and tools for self-service and capability

Qualifications

• Experience in an advisory role in a medium to large organisation or P&C Business Partner role with diverse people matters.
• Proven track record on managing workplace investigations / grievances.
• Knowledge of modern awards, employment legislation and National Employment Standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex case management across investigations, grievances, performance matters and nonwork related injury cases.
• Providing specialist ER advice and foundational interpretation of industrial instruments.
• Coaching and guiding leaders across the business to navigate people issues confidently.
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of processes, tools and resources to enable self-service and build capability.
• Contributing to people reporting, insights and analytics in partnership with key stakeholders.

We’re looking for a people-centric, solutions-focused Senior People Advisor to join our People Operations & Advisory team.

Please note this is a 16-month part-time role, ideally 3 days per week.

In this role, you’ll be a key advisor to leaders and team members across Wesfarmers Health, providing specialist employee relations support and guiding fair, consistent, and high-quality people outcomes. You’ll act as an escalation point for our offshore team and lead complex case management, all while strengthening our leaders’ capability and enhancing the employment experience across our group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading complex case management across investigations, grievances, performance matters and nonwork related injury cases
• Providing specialist ER advice and foundational interpretation of industrial instruments
• Coaching and guiding leaders across the business to navigate people issues confidently
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of processes, tools and resources to enable self-service and build capability
• Contributing to people reporting, insights and analytics in partnership with key stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

• Solid experience in an advisory role in a medium to larger organisation or P&C Business Partner role who has managed a diverse range of people matters
• Proven track record on managing workplace investigations / Grievances
• Customer focused with an ability to work with a range of people at all levels
• Proven track record in coaching leaders and seeking resolution of complex people problems using ER knowledge
• Expert knowledge of modern awards, employment legislation and National Employment Standards
• High attention to detail and with excellent time management skills
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills dealing with a variety of stakeholders from employees to senior managers
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
• Accreditation in coaching/dispute resolution
