Tech Aalto Pte ltd in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to lead the Australian localization of the Pay fare instant-payout and embedded banking platform on Microsoft Azure. You will design scalable microservices, own API contracts, and govern cross-border integration with local rails.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with NPP/PayID, Azure AKS/APIM, and distributed orchestration patterns, plus a strong grasp of regulatory requirements (APRA, AUSTRAC).

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Australian payment rails: NPP, Osko, PayID, PayTo, and ISO 20022 messaging.
Azure Cloud PaaS: containerized microservices and API layers on AKS, APIM, Functions.
DDD/BIAN domain mastery, microservices, Saga orchestration for distributed payments.
Hands-on Python microservices and API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger), REST/gRPC, Kafka.
AU regulatory governance: APRA CPS 234/230 and AUSTRAC reporting, data residency requirements.
Core banking integration with cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

Design and govern Australian localization of the Pay fare platform on Azure.
Lead integration with local payment rails and core banking platforms via secure APIs.
