Job summary

Mivada Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking to join our growing Workday practice. This role focuses on Australian payroll with potential NZ involvement and offers a clear path to Workday certification.

You will lead payroll configuration, testing and deployments, advise on best practices, and collaborate with HR teams to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/BA/IS or related field.
• Experience in payroll systems implementations in Australia or NZ.
• Partnering with HR teams and payroll operations knowledge.
• Knowledge of Australian/NZ payroll compliance and reporting.
• Proficient using HRIS/payroll systems for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimise Workday Payroll to meet client needs and objectives.
• Lead payroll configuration, testing, and deployment activities across projects.
• Manage integrations between Workday Payroll and external systems.
• Advise clients on Workday best practices and process improvements.
• Develop payroll reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot payroll-related system and process issues.
• Deliver end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
• Support governance, risk, security, and compliance requirements.
