Job summary

Perseus Mining Limited is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage accurate, timely payroll for corporate and expatriate staff, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies. This hands-on role supports project development and site operations teams to drive payroll accuracy and efficiency across the group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a payroll position.
• Sound understanding of payroll and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including expatriate payrolls.
• Ability to maintain employee and payroll records with high-volume data entry.
• Experience with expatriate payroll and complex payroll arrangements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for corporate and expatriate employees.
• Oversee expatriate and international payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support payroll governance and compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Contribute to payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project development and site operations teams on payroll processes.
