Job summary

Future You is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. The role will support payroll processing for around 700 employees across multiple sites, with weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will navigate complex Enterprise Agreements, manage overtime, shifts, allowances and RDOs, and collaborate with HR and site stakeholders to ensure accurate records and timely, compliant

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a senior payroll role.
• Experience with complex, multi-site payroll environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise agreements and payroll legislation.
• Ability to interpret complex pay conditions and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and review payrolls across multiple pay frequencies.
• Apply Enterprise Agreement conditions to payroll calculations.
• Manage complex pay rules, including overtime, rotating shifts, allowances and RDOs.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries.
• Support payroll system improvements and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with HR and site stakeholders to ensure accurate records.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance.
