Qantas is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage the payroll for the Subsidiary Payroll Team. You will ensure accurate processing in line with awards, enterprise agreements and statutory requirements, resolving queries, and driving efficiency.

Our Payroll function plays an important role in the lifecycle of our employees. As the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of payroll functions in the Subsidiary Payroll Team for your allocated portfolio, ensuring that they are processed accurately to meet award, legislative and audit requirements, and that all processing occurs within required timeframes. As a payroll subject matter expert you will maintain and manage up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations and assist with proactively managing and resolving payroll queries, identify opportunities to streamline operational efficiency and accuracy, as well as actively contribute to key projects and transformation activities.
