Job summary

Align Talent Pty Ltd is assisting a well-established not-for-profit aged care provider in Melbourne to attract a Senior Payroll Officer / standalone Payroll Manager. The role covers end-to-end payroll for 500+ staff on a fortnightly cycle, within a supportive Finance team.

You will drive a payroll system implementation in the first 12 months, ensure accuracy, and provide guidance to employees and managers on payroll matters.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll requirements.
• Experience in aged care or not-for-profit sector preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative approach with Finance, HR and operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate end-to-end payroll for 500+ staff fortnightly.
• Assist with payroll system implementation in first 12 months.
• Maintain employee payroll data accurately and timely.
• Review payroll information and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide staff and manager payroll guidance and support.
• Prepare payroll reporting and compliance tasks.
