4K Automotive is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll across all entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Australian awards, the NES, Fair Work and statutory obligations. You will drive the transition from Unipay to Employment Hero, partner with Finance and People & Culture, and strengthen payroll processes across a multi-site automotive group.

This role requires a degree in accounting or finance and at least two years leading a payroll team in a multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years leading a payroll team.
• Experience with payroll in automotive/retail or multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and Fair Work.

Responsabilités

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across all 4K Automotive entities, ensuring timely, accurate, compliant payroll.
• Maintain payroll records, entitlements, deductions, superannuation and STP reporting with audits.
• Provide guidance on payroll queries and award interpretation, collaborating with People & Culture and Finance.
• Support onboarding, terminations and payroll administration with confidentiality and discretion.
• Lead the transition from Unipay to Employment Hero, including implementation and process improvements.
