Job summary

ING is seeking a Senior Payroll Consultant in Australia to lead end-to-end fortnightly payroll for over 2,200 employees. You will partner with HR, Finance and external vendors to ensure accurate, compliant payroll and a seamless employee experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive payroll experience in a medium to large, complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation.
• Experience with payroll systems and advanced Excel; ADP/Workday preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide expert payroll advice on legislation, awards, taxation and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Lead process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency.
• Prepare payroll reporting and reconciliations for regulatory and business needs.
