Job summary

ING Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Consultant to join the Payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sydney. You will manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 2,200+ employees, ensure accuracy, compliance and strong customer service, while partnering across the business to drive improvements.

You will bring extensive payroll knowledge, expertise with Workday and ADP, and the ability to influence process change in a complex, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive payroll experience in a medium-to-large, regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and compliance.
• Experience with payroll systems (Workday, ADP) and data analysis.
• Ability to partner with HR, Finance and external vendors to resolve payroll issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 2,200+ employees on a fortnightly cycle.
• Provide expert guidance on payroll legislation, awards, taxation, superannuation and employee benefits.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and vendors to resolve payroll matters and improve processes.
• Drive continuous improvement to streamline payroll controls and efficiency.
• Prepare payroll reporting, reconciliations and insights to support regulatory requirements.
