Job summary

Australian Payments Plus is seeking a Senior Security Operations Analyst to protect our technology environments by identifying, investigating and responding to security events and incidents. You’ll monitor and respond to threats, coordinate containment and remediation, and work with cross‑functional teams to enforce security controls.

In this hands‑on role you’ll perform vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence work and incident reviews, driving continuous improvement of security

Qualifications

• Security operations experience and ability to investigate security events.
• Experience in incident management and coordinating response actions.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and threat intelligence practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead security monitoring across enterprise environments using SIEM, EDR and cloud security platforms.
• Investigate security alerts and indicators of compromise; correlate threat intelligence with internal telemetry.
• Coordinate and lead the response to security incidents including containment, eradication and recovery.
• Perform root-cause investigations and produce incident reports and lessons learned.
• Develop and maintain playbooks, runbooks and standard operating procedures for security ops.
