Job summary

yourtown is recruiting a Senior Pathways Coach within the Get Back in the Game program in Campbelltown, NSW. You will provide intensive, strengths-based case management to young people facing barriers to education, training and employment, working across school and community environments.

You will build rapport, coordinate with schools, training providers and government agencies, oversee complex cases, support the Team Leader, and help the program achieve outcomes over a 12-month maximum term.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering strengths-based, client-centred case management.
• Ability to work across school and community environments to support transitions into education or employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with young people, families, schools and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, individualised case management including enrolment, assessment, career guidance and tailored transition planning.
• Engage young people through practical coaching, work-readiness activities and referrals addressing barriers to education, training and employment.
• Build partnerships with schools, education and training providers, community services, employers and government agencies.
• Create pathways into vocational training, work experience, apprenticeships, traineeships and employment, and monitor progress.
• Support the Team Leader as a senior point of contact, guide on complex cases and assist team with achieving outcomes.
