Job summary

NBMLHD is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Child and Adolescent Health Team at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital. You will provide high-quality paediatric speech pathology services to children and adolescents with communication delays and disorders, supporting their development and potential.

You will lead in specialist areas including paediatric feeding/dysphagia, autism spectrum considerations, and neonatal feeding management, contributing to team assessments and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in speech pathology with eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership, and a current driver’s licence.
• Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in paediatric care, including feeding/dysphagia and assessment of communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality paediatric speech pathology services to children and adolescents.
• Deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention and family-centred care in a multidisciplinary team.
• Specialist paediatric services to the Special Care Nursery and Children’s Ward, including neonatal feeding/swallowing management.
