Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking an experienced Paediatric Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Child & Family team based in Canterbury.

This permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) offers Level 3 classification with remuneration of AU$121,568–AU$125,507 per annum plus Annual Leave Loading and Superannuation. The role may involve work across health centres and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPAA) and a current NSW Driver's Licence (P1/P2 acceptable).
• Advanced paediatric speech pathology experience and competent clinical decision making in a multi-disciplinary team.
• High level written and interpersonal skills and ability to work with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate and report on evidence-based clinical services for paediatric clients.
• Provide supervision to Level 1/2 staff and contribute to teaching and clinical practice advancement.
