Qualifications

• 3+ years Production supervisor experience ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven success leading a team within a production or manufacturing facility.
• Strong leadership skills to develop, guide and motivate the team.
• Well-developed relationship building and ability to engage at all organisational levels.
• Keen eye for detail and a process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of production operations to meet customer requirements, including grading, packing, cold-chain, hygiene and dispatch.
• Supervision and training of a rostered packhouse team, including safe and proper use of packing equipment.
• Ensuring hygiene standards are at their highest level within the facility.
• Continuous review of production practices, utilities and equipment to identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, safety and reduce waste.
• Work closely with the maintenance team in problem solving technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and support the food safety team as directed.
