Job summary

HenderCare is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead clinical teams across homes and community settings, delivering client-centred care and meaningful outcomes for people living with diverse needs.

You will mentor clinicians, refine assessments, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to service improvements while enjoying flexible arrangements, strong work-life balance, and the chance to shape the future of allied health in our supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience within the NDIS
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Experience mentoring or leading clinicians is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and rewarding caseload with autonomy
• Complete Functional Capacity Assessments and complex clinical assessments
• Prescribe and review Assistive Technology and Home Modifications
• Develop practical, person-centred recommendations that deliver meaningful outcomes
• Collaborate with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Mentor and support fellow clinicians
• Contribute to clinical excellence, service innovation and continuous improvement
