i-bullet is seeking an experienced Oracle/PLSQL Developer for a 12-month contract in Melbourne CBD. You will work hands-on across a mature Oracle codebase, troubleshoot complex issues and deliver controlled changes to critical systems.

Role emphasizes building/refreshing stored procedures, packages, functions and triggers within Unix/Linux scripting environments, collaborating across large enterprise teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle/PL/SQL development within a mature, business-critical codebase.
• Develop, maintain and enhance database objects including stored procedures, packages, functions and triggers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes in complex enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications built on Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Work across complex existing codebases and understand dependencies between systems.
• Troubleshoot production and application issues and identify root causes.
• Build and modify stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers and complex SQL.
• Support application enhancements, releases and ongoing system improvements.
• Work with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
• Review and optimise SQL/PLSQL where required.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams across a large enterprise environment.
• Deliver changes carefully within established development and release processes.
