Job summary

Beltech Group, based in Brisbane, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead fixed plant maintenance and metals fabrication for mining and heavy industry. You will oversee operational delivery, workforce performance, safety, quality and cost control, reporting to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, workshop activities, FIFO mobilisation, shutdown readiness, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an operational leadership role within mining, fixed plant maintenance, fabrication or heavy industry.
• Experience mentoring a diverse workforce including FIFO personnel.
• Exposure to ISO management systems and platforms such as SAP or Ellipse.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and workforce performance.
• Lead workforce planning, workshop activities, FIFO mobilisation and shutdown readiness.
• Manage budgets, costs and overall business performance; ensure safety and quality standards.
