Latitude Financial Services in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Operational Risk Specialist for a hybrid role with two days in the office each week. You will join the second line of defence to guide risk decisions and strengthen risk management across the business.

You will provide end-to-end operational risk advice, review controls, and lead targeted assurance activities. A background in financial services risk and effective communication with executive leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive financial services risk experience and control background.
• Ability to assess internal controls and implement improvements.
• Strong analytical, writing and influencing skills for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with governance, risk and compliance systems and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen risk oversight programs with practical tools and guidance.
• Provide risk advice across strategic, regulatory, technology and product changes.
• Lead assurance reviews and deep-dives to assess control effectiveness.
• Turn risk data and trends into clear insights for leadership and risk committees.

• Influence senior stakeholders with clear risk guidance.
