HIF Australia is seeking a Risk Consultant to support the Risk Manager and the broader Risk and Compliance team in strengthening risk management practices. The role will embed risk management into business processes and provide insights into risk and control environments.

You will work with stakeholders across the business to review risk assessments, monitor the risk register and treatment actions, and identify control gaps with recommendations for improvement.

Qualificações

• Two years’ experience in risk, risk and compliance, or related role.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 and APRA CPS 220/230 prudential standards.
• Experience developing, implementing and improving risk management frameworks.
• Ability to analyse business processes, identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
• Experience in risk assessment, mitigation, investigation and remediation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to draft clear policies and reports.
• Comfort with using data to identify trends and support risk reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Risk Manager and Risk & Compliance team to strengthen risk management practices.
• Maintain and enhance HIF’s Risk Management Framework and embed risk management into business practices.
• Provide insights into risk and the internal control environment.
• Review and monitor risk registers and treatment actions; identify control gaps.
• Support second-line control assurance activities and risk culture assessments.
• Help build risk awareness, accountability, and capability across HIF.
• Contribute to proactive risk culture and opportunities for improvement.
