Job summary

The Senior Project Officer position with the Victorian Government focuses on leading effective industry engagement for Victoria's offshore wind program. You will cultivate strong relationships with offshore wind proponents and work with department colleagues to support program activities.

The role acts as a liaison, providing program advice and facilitating dialogue between the department and the offshore wind industry, including formal market engagement to inform robust strategies and policy

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge or experience in engagement with industry stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge with government decision-making processes is desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the National Electricity Market and policy development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead industry engagement and build relationships with offshore wind proponents.
• Provide program-related advice and ensure clear dialogue between department and industry.
• Conduct formal market engagement and inform program strategies and policy design.
• Support Victoria's offshore wind program and the State’s offshore wind auction.
