Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District’s Bowral Hospital is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Level 3) to lead clinical practice within an experienced team. You will provide expert assessment, mentoring and professional leadership across inpatient services, working with a multidisciplinary group to deliver person-centred care.

The role offers flexible working arrangements and supports ongoing professional development while contributing to service improvement and high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Demonstrated advanced clinical skills in occupational therapy across varied inpatient caseloads.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or educating Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants or students.
• Ability to balance complex clinical demands with service development and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert occupational therapy assessment, intervention and clinical leadership across inpatient services.
• Support and mentor junior Occupational Therapists, building capability and best practice within the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, person-centred care that improves patient outcomes.
