Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Lvl 3) at Campbelltown Hospital. You will provide advanced clinical leadership within the acute services team, manage complex patient caseloads, and support discharge planning and governance.

You will mentor junior staff and contribute to service improvement while delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy across medical, surgical, neurological and geriatric presentations.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate with registration with AHPRA.
• Advanced clinical skills and significant experience in Acute Services.
• Experience planning, implementing and evaluating local service delivery with quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in a dynamic acute care environment.
• Support patient flow and ensure timely, safe discharge planning.
• Mentor and supervise junior Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-informed Occupational Therapy services across diverse caseloads.
• Lead initiatives to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
