Job summary

NSW Health – Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Level 3) to lead the Occupational Therapy service within the Walker Adolescent Mental Health Unit, Concord Centre for Mental Health. The role focuses on clinical leadership, patient care optimization and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will have an OT degree, current AHPRA registration, and substantial experience at Level 2 or higher, with strong negotiation and advocacy skills and a NSW driver licence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and significant experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to problem solve independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills with stakeholders.
• Holds a NSW driver licence (P1/P2 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy and optimise patient care delivery.
• Mentor and develop OT staff within the service.
