Job summary

Canterbury Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Level 3) to provide senior clinical leadership within the OT service. You will optimise patient care delivery and support mentoring and development of staff across acute general medicine, surgical and orthopedics programs.

The ideal candidate holds a current AHPRA registration with advanced OT knowledge and excellent communication and advocacy skills, plus a NSW driver’s licence.

Qualifications

Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
Advanced clinical knowledge and substantial OT experience at Level 2 or higher.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with adaptable communication.
Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills plus NSW Driver’s Licence (P1/P2 acceptable).

Responsibilities

Provide senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy services.
Optimise patient care delivery and support staff mentoring and development.
