Monash Health is seeking a Nurse Manager – Perioperative Services at Moorabbin Hospital to lead a busy perioperative service. This full-time, fixed-term 12-month role oversees six operating theatres and one procedure room, ensuring safe, patient-centred care and efficient theatre utilisation.

You will drive governance, staff development and continuous improvement within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Operations Manager Perioperative Services.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a nurse with operating theatre experience.
• Senior nursing leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring governance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations of six operating theatres and one procedure room.
• Coordinate patient flow, theatre utilisation and workforce planning.
• Ensure clinical governance, safety and high-quality perioperative care.
• Lead staff development, mentoring and succession planning.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and allied teams to improve service delivery.
