Job summary

Mott MacDonald Group in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Nuclear Project Manager to lead delivery of major defence and nuclear infrastructure programmes within Australia's emerging naval capability. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and interfaces, and work with regulators, clients and suppliers to achieve safe, on-time outcomes, with security clearance support.

The role offers leadership across complex programmes, with robust governance and delivery

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in defence, nuclear or highly regulated industries.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling, governance and reporting skills.
• Experience managing project risks, issues and commercial considerations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex infrastructure, engineering, or nuclear safety programmes.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, safety specialists, contractors and clients.
• Lead planning, governance, reporting and performance management.
• Oversee interfaces across complex programmes.
• Support procurement, contracting and delivery strategy.
• Engage with clients, regulators, and supply chain partners.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues and opportunities.
