Job summary

Insight Global seeks an Engineering Program Specialist to support NPI hardware and software development. You will manage build matrices, validate part numbers with PLM, and prioritize requests across teams.

You will drive allocation, inventory control, budgeting, and PO reconciliation, coordinating with TPM/OPM and Legal to ensure on-time deliveries and compliance. The role requires effective communication with senior management and a drive for process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an engineering program management or related role in high-tech hardware/software development.
• Experience working with engineering teams on allocation, distribution and inventory management.
• Proficient in creating and managing complex spreadsheets, accounting tools, POs and invoice tracking.
• Experience with Agile, Teamcenter or equivalent PLM systems.
• Extensive experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware development with CM/JDM engagement.
• Proficient in device allocation, inventory control and understanding build configurations to meet diverse customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI engineering builds by assisting in the build matrix and validating part numbers with PLM.
• Manage demand, prioritize requests and facilitate allocation with TPM.
• Ensure shipments and resolve logistic issues with JDM; collaborate with Trade Ops and Legal for country restrictions.
• Drive and oversee distribution activities and communicate with senior management under pressure.
• Partner with the Dogfooding team to reflect latest device versions across locations.
• Handle budget-related tasks including PO initiation, tracking, and invoice reconciliation with TPM/OPM and Business Ops; support PO mapping per project.
• Lead process improvements for engineering, TPM, OPM, Cost Engineer, and PLM teams.
