Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer for NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform in Australia. You will ensure health, performance and reliability of cell infrastructure while building automation for self-healing at scale.

Remote work is supported, with many team members in Australia and Sydney. Bring 7+ years in SRE/platform engineering, proficiency in Go/Python/Java, cloud experience (AWS/GCP/OCI) and IaC skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or infra operations.
• Strong distributed systems experience and on-call discipline.
• Proficient in Go, Python, or Java for automation.
• Experience with cloud providers and IaC tooling.
• Ability to design and operate at scale with monitoring and SLIs/SLOs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and reliability of LogScale cells and incident response.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices with ring-based rollouts and patches.
• Develop monitoring, alerts, dashboards and runbooks for fast troubleshooting.
• Build Go microservices and automation scripts to self-heal infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product engineering and support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor others and grow expertise in large-scale distributed systems.
