Job summary

Coforge in Newcastle, NSW is seeking an experienced Network SME to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise networks, emphasizing routing, switching, WLAN, security, SD-WAN and cloud networking. You will serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex issues.

The role includes leading major incident calls, performing root cause analysis, integrating with AWS and Azure, mentoring engineers, and driving operational excellence across the network platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, security, SD-WAN, and cloud networking.
• Experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing large networks.
• Ability to lead incident management and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, GRE, and SD-WAN.
• Manage switching: VLANs, STP, VXLAN-EVPN, Cisco Nexus.
• Support and optimize Wi-Fi/WLAN environments.
• Integrate networking across AWS and Azure.
• Provide Level-3 support, lead major incident (P1) calls, RCA.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architecture reviews.
