Job summary

One Solution Group in Australia seeks a Network Engineer to design, deploy and support enterprise networking solutions across a diverse client base, including government, education and corporate accounts. You will work on greenfield deployments, complex migrations and ongoing managed services across LAN, WAN and SD-WAN.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Cisco Catalyst, Fortinet firewalls, and strong routing/switching knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in network engineering within MSP/integrator/enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Cisco Meraki and Cisco Catalyst environments.
• Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, MPLS).
• Experience with enterprise wireless (Meraki, Cisco, Aruba).
• Firewall experience (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD or Meraki MX).
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and network security principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, wireless and SD-WAN solutions for enterprise and government clients.
• Configure and manage Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst, Fortinet and other platforms.
• Implement and support firewalls, VPNs, segmentation and zero-trust architectures.
• Lead migrations, refresh projects and multi-site rollouts.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation (low-level designs, as-builts).
• Monitor health using monitoring tools and respond to alerts for availability and security.
• Provide L2/L3 support, root-cause analysis and incident response.
• Collaborate with pre-sales to design solutions and support client discussions.
