Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to own end-to-end technical delivery for engagements in ANZ, onsite and remote. You will translate customer requirements into documented designs and guide deployments, migrations and test cycles in complex environments.

You will mentor less experienced consultants, contribute reusable assets, and work with Sales Engineering, TAC and partners to share knowledge across the ANZ team.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years or more of relevant industry experience with network security background.
• 5+ years in LAN, WAN and internet infrastructure engineering, support or administration.
• 3+ years delivering network security products in customer-facing project delivery.
• Fortinet certification at FCP level as a minimum; FCSS/FCX and related Fortinet specialisations preferred.
• Vendor certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Juniper, Check Point, Radware, AWS or Azure are an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including ability to author design documentation and present technical positions to customer architects and management.
• Strong knowledge of current threat landscape and its mapping to controls.
• Competence with MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Fortinet Professional Services engagements onsite and remotely.
• Translate requirements into a documented low level design aligned to Fortinet best practice.
• Deploy, configure, migrate, cut over, test and troubleshoot Fortinet solutions in complex environments.
• Mentor and uplift less experienced consultants through paired delivery and feedback.
• Interface with Sales Engineering, TAC, Product Management and partners to share knowledge back to the ANZ team.
• Maintain accurate time recording and deliver artefacts to close engagements.
• Provide clear, written project status to the Fortinet project manager and management line.
