Job summary

eHealth NSW, part of NSW Health, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to lead transformation across backbone, data centre and campus networks. Join a high-skill team delivering enterprise-scale routing and switching in a hybrid work model from Chatswood.

You will design, implement and support secure, resilient networking solutions, mentor engineers and drive standardised practices while collaborating with senior technical stakeholders to meet roadmap goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering and supporting large-scale Routing & Switching across Backbone, Data Centre and Campus networks.
• Advanced expertise in Cisco and Juniper technologies with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, VRF, QoS and VLANs.

Responsibilities

• Lead network transformation projects, platform upgrades and service improvements in Routing & Switching environments.
• Design, implement and support Backbone, Data Centre and Campus network solutions.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive architecture decisions and roadmap outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership for major incidents, changes and operational excellence initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
