Job summary

Medibank Private Limited in Australia is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Operations team on a 9-month daily rate contract, paying $750 per day (inc super). This role supports a large-scale enterprise network across retail stores, corporate offices and data centres.

You will work with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco and Zscaler, maintaining security, reliability and performance while collaborating with infrastructure, security and cloud teams to deliver a seamless experience for

Qualifications

Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco firewall and VPN technologies.
Experience in large, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Managing, maintaining, and patching enterprise firewall environments
Supporting switching, routing, wireless access point, and VPN infrastructure
Troubleshooting complex network issues and driving operational improvements
Ensuring network reliability, performance, and security across a geographically distributed environment
Supporting network compliance and security initiatives
Managing and supporting owned network tools and platforms
Collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, security, and project teams on key initiatives
Contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement practices
