Job summary

Better Staff is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade network solutions for a diverse client base in Sydney, Australia. This hands-on, client-facing role requires ownership of solutions from discovery through to delivery and optimization.

Qualifications

Hands-on Fortinet experience required across FortiGate/Manager/Analyzer or Security Fabric.
Experience as a Network Architect / Senior Network Consultant in MSP, integrator or consulting.
Experience delivering complex enterprise network solutions, from design to delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and implementation of network solutions across client environments.
Produce high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs) and oversee implementation.
Conduct network assessments to identify performance, scalability and security improvements.
Act as technical lead across multiple projects ensuring quality delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support pre-sales activities including solution design, client presentations and proposals.
Develop PoCs and contribute to cost estimation and project planning.
Ensure solutions align to best practices in security, resilience and scalability.
Plan and execute network changes during maintenance windows including evenings/overnight.
