Megaport is seeking a Senior Engineer to enhance our Perl code base for network automation and lead technical projects. You will improve the performance of our systems while mentoring junior engineers. This role offers a flexible remote working culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience using Perl and frameworks like Mojolicious.
• Experience maintaining scalable versioned, secure REST APIs.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing Perl code base for network automation.
• Identify and reduce technical debt while improving performance.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Support junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews.
