Job summary

Megaport is seeking an experienced, hands-on engineer to lead OSS and operations automation within the operations department. The role focuses on improving monitoring, tooling integration, and developing scalable automation across Linux and AWS environments.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain OSS platforms, collaborate with front‑line teams (CS/TSE/NOC) and drive systemic automation initiatives with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining OSS tools.
• Ability to translate complex network data into actionable insights for teams.
• Strong project management and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Business analysis, architecture & stakeholder engagement with BRDs, Epics and acceptance criteria.
• End‑to‑end delivery: concept to production, including design, QA and release management.
• Cloud infra integration (Linux, AWS) and API/webhook integration.
• Open‑source monitoring management to modernise legacy systems.
• Telemetry, SNMP, and alerting across network and cloud apps.
