Job summary

Accenture Sydney is seeking an experienced Applications Architect to lead design and delivery of enterprise solutions. You will guide cross-functional teams, evaluate architectures, and translate business needs into scalable cloud-native systems.

The role emphasizes .NET, Azure, microservices, RESTful APIs, security best practices, and CI/CD. You’ll mentor developers, review code, and ensure performance and compliance across platforms while partnering with DevOps and product teams.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud environments and cloud-native development.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Solid experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of backend systems and application layering.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Master proficiency in Application Architecture Design.
• Understanding of security concepts including OAuth/JWT and secure API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Upgrade applications using .NET / .NET Core and evolve architecture.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures for scale and resilience.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with systems.
