Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking senior full stack engineers to design, build, and optimise next-gen products. You’ll work across a modern stack including .NET microservices, AWS and cloud-native technologies, with strong DevOps practices.

You’ll collaborate with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead in an agile team to deliver meaningful features across sprints, spanning backend services and polished front-end interfaces. This role offers ownership and a path for growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a software product environment using Scrum, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET for building microservices and business logic.
• Experience with AWS core services.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Redis) is desirable.
• Familiarity with REST, JSON, and modern API patterns; exposure to gRPC or Protobuf is a plus.
• Experience with git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as GitLab.
• Comfortable in both Windows and Linux development environments.
• Understanding of observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with micro frontends, component libraries, or design systems.
• AWS or Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise the next generation of our products across a modern stack.
• Collaborate with a Product Manager, Engineering Lead and agile product team to deliver high-quality features in each sprint.
• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions from back-end microservices to modern front-end interfaces.
• Apply secure development, peer code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD-driven delivery.
• Build microservices and distributed components aligned with our reference architecture and create high-performance UIs.
• Contribute to documentation, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
