Job summary

Anduril Australia is seeking a Senior Modelling and Simulation Engineer to design, develop and support next-generation simulation architecture for autonomous maritime and air platforms. You will lead physics-based modeling, collaborate with vendors, and drive full lifecycle testing across software and hardware-in-the-loop environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, or Engineering.
• Extensive experience with platform physics-based modelling and simulation.
• Proficient in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience owning a software service and engaging stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of next‑gen modeling and simulation architecture.
• Serve as SME for engineering-level simulation of Anduril platforms.
• Simulate GNC algorithms and Vehicle Management System components.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate external models.
• Create models and fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support development of software systems and lifecycle testing.
• Assist in manufacturing and deployment support.
• Mentor software engineers across backgrounds.
