Job summary

Anduril Industries Australia is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own and deliver complex robotic systems for unmanned platforms. You will contribute to hardware integration, testing, cybersecurity, and end-to-end system delivery, while mentoring junior engineers across a multi-disciplinary team.

Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and customers, with a focus on rapid capability delivery and lifecycle support for subsurface and other domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience as an engineer across domains/technologies.
• Ability to own and deliver complex robotic subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Own technology solutions deployed to customers, delivering value.
• Act as SME across hardware, testing, perception, engineering processes or cybersecurity.
• Empathize with end-users to balance needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Design, architect and implement integrated systems for rapid capability delivery and evolution.
• Contribute to reusable components across Anduril products.
• Lead development processes for robotic systems, including lifecycle testing and operation.
• Support vehicle and payload manufacturing, testing and deployment.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users up to 20% of the time.
• Mentor engineers from diverse backgrounds within a multi-disciplinary team.
