Job summary

Infosys in Australia seeks a Senior Mobility Engineer to lead enterprise mobility and endpoint management within the EMMS team.

You will guide design, implementation and operational transitions with customers, vendors and internal teams to deliver secure, scalable mobility services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS or engineering.
• 7+ years in Enterprise Mobility or EUC/Modern Workplace tech.
• Australian Citizenship or PR.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior escalation point for mobility and endpoint management issues.
• Lead major incident response, vendor escalations, root cause analysis.
• Drive ITIL-aligned change management and deployments.
• Maintain platform security, reliability and performance.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards.
• Collaborate with identity, certificate, and network services.
• Configure Apple Business Manager, Android Zero-touch, Windows Autopilot.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, APIs, and scripting.

Role Description

Are you passionate about ensuring stable, secure, and high‑performing enterprise mobility platforms? We're seeking a Senior Mobility Engineer to join our Enterprise Mobility Managed Services (EMMS) team.

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and operational transition of enterprise mobility and endpoint management solutions. As a technical leader and trusted advisor, you'll work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable mobility services.

You will provide technical leadership across delivery, operational support, major incidents, service improvements, and strategic initiatives while mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.

Location: Anywhere in Australia (Melbourne or Sydney preferred)

Salary: AUD 108,571- 119,893 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as a senior escalation point for complex mobility and endpoint management issues.
• Lead major incident response, vendor escalations, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Drive ITIL-aligned change management, release governance, and production deployments.
• Maintain platform security, reliability, performance, and compliance.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, Mobile Threat Defence (MTD), and security posture improvements.
• Support integrations with identity, certificate, directory, and network access services.
• Configure and manage Apple Business Manager, Android Zero‑touch, Samsung Knox Mobile Enrolment (KME), and Windows Autopilot.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, APIs, and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to engineering standards, and promote continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years' experience in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), End User Computing (EUC), or Modern Workplace technologies.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Technical Skills

• Enterprise Mobility & Endpoint Management: Strong experience with one or more of Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE (Omnissa), Ivanti, SOTI
• Identity, Security & Infrastructure:Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Conditional Access, SCEP / PKI, Mobile Application Management (MAM), Mobile Threat Defence (MTD), Microsoft 365 & Exchange Online, Networking fundamentals and load balancing

Desirable Certifications

• Omnissa Workspace ONE Mobility Professional / Advanced Professional
• SOTI Certified Professional
