Alignerr is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. The role focuses on authoring high-fidelity reasoning traces to teach large language models how to think step-by-step, rather than traditional model tuning.

You will document decision-making processes, design data strategies for real-world reasoning, and review traces for quality and accuracy, contributing across model evaluation and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior ML practitioner with hands-on experience in ML/DL or related field.
• Ability to decompose complex problems into clear, structured steps.
• Familiar with advanced LLM evaluation and training methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document reasoning clearly.
• Self-directed and reliable, able to work with minimal oversight.
