Job summary
Alignerr is seeking Mathematics Specialists with advanced degrees to help build and refine the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models. This fully remote, flexible hourly contract is designed for Masters and PhD-level mathematicians who want to work on meaningful problems on their own schedule.
Hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics and be proficient in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics, with coding experience in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica.
Qualifications
- Hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Deeply proficient in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
- Experience coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance.
- Apply deep expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics to design rigorous, complex problem sets.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning and mathematical understanding.
- Ensure mathematical accuracy, clarity, and depth across all deliverables.
- Evaluate and improve AI-generated mathematical content using your domain expertise.
