Job summary

Oaky Creek Coal, a Glencore managed operation, is seeking a Senior Training Coordinator to lead site training programs at the Tieri operation in Queensland. You will develop and coordinate training systems, ensuring compliance and safety standards across underground mining activities.

Reporting to the Training Superintendent, you will audit training, forecast courses, and build strong stakeholder relationships across Oaky Surface and Oaky North.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Assessment & Workplace Training.
• Proven experience in underground mining training roles.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Strong reporting and written/verbal communication.
• Experience leading training teams or groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate training systems for site needs.
• Audit training compliance and report on outcomes.
• Manage site training needs analysis, forecasting and onboarding.
• Develop and facilitate training packages and delivery plans for workers.
• Implement the Oaky Creek Coal closure training strategy.
• Build stakeholder relationships across Oaky Surface and Oaky North.
• Coordinate and support the Training team, reporting to the Training Superintendent.
