AMC Consultants (now part of AFRY) seeks a Senior Mining Consultant to lead strategy optimization and deliver whole-of-mine value improvements. This role sits in the Strategy Optimization team and involves working with a global, multidisciplinary group, often with site visits and interactions with stakeholders to identify optimal mining solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering is required.
• 15+ years mining experience for Principal position.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong ethics and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Carry out numerical modelling using the HoV process to uncover strategic insights for clients.
• Lead client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Support strategy optimization studies from concept to feasibility.
