Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer (Scheduling) at Ernest Henry Operations to own the mine scheduling process, aligning short, medium and life‑of‑asset plans with budget and production aims. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with Operations and Technical Services to improve planning systems and outcomes.

Qualifications

Underground metals mining experience in a scheduling role (min 5 years) in a caving environment.
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
Strong Deswik scheduling proficiency (IS / Scheduler / CAD).
Proven leadership and mentoring ability to develop engineers.
Analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the 3YR Budget Schedule with alignment to LOM vision.
Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts and operational schedules with stakeholders.
Identify, communicate and manage schedule risks with mitigation plans.
Partner with Operations and Technical Services to ensure planning outputs support execution.
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Mining Engineers and drive continuous improvement.
