Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced leadership professional to lead critical mining equipment projects and outages across NSW. You will supervise skilled field service teams, oversee planning, safety, and customer engagement to deliver safe, efficient shutdowns and major maintenance on high‑value mining machinery.

Working closely with technicians, customers and site stakeholders, you will drive project execution, build strong relationships, and foster continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology or Automotive Electrical Technology.
• Experience leading teams in mining, heavy industry, field service, shutdowns or major maintenance.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills for coordinating personnel and activities.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to manage project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field service teams to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality machine shutdowns and project work.
• Coordinate project activities, workforce requirements, and forward planning for successful execution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide site support.
• Drive a safety culture through leadership and adherence to safe work practices.
• Monitor productivity and performance to ensure schedule and standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
