Job summary

Mineral Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer for the Central Pilbara operation on an 8D6X roster, flying in from Perth. You will lead daily mine planning and engineering execution across Iron Valley and Lamb Creek, owning the 3-Month Mining Plan and the 2-week plan, while ensuring safety, throughput and grade targets.

This role offers breadth across development, blast design, reconciliation and cross-functional collaboration with Technical Services, Mining Operations, and Supply

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or relevant field.
• Extensive production mining engineering experience with short- and medium-term planning.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop Mining Engineers and Engineers-in-Training.
• Structured planning discipline with strong reconciliation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive engineering planning and design standards across the Central Pilbara operation.
• Own the 3-Month Mining Plan (3MMP) and the 2-week mining plan, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
• Own mine development plans and Blastmaster/Traffic Management designs.
• Oversee and sign off daily, drill & blast, and short-term engineering work.
• Report weekly plan compliance and prepare monthly performance reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy and defensible conclusions for operational decisions.
