Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited in Western Australia seeks an experienced Senior Operations Engineer to support safe and efficient underground mining operations. Reporting to the Manager – Operations, you will monitor mine performance, analyse production and cost metrics, and provide operational support to site leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground mining experience.
• Experience in underground operations, mine planning, or shift supervision.
• Ability to analyse operational data and translate findings into practical outcomes.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card, National Police Clearance, and C Class Driver's Licence.

• Conduct operational audits and support continuous improvement projects.
• Provide technical guidance to operational teams.
• Fulfil responsibilities as the site's Appointed Explosives Officer.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, statutory, and environmental requirements.

Westgold is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Engineer to support the safe and efficient delivery of underground mining operations. Reporting to the Manager - Operations, this role focuses on monitoring mine performance, analysing production and cost metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing operational support to site leadership teams.

Role responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse production, physicals, costs, and operational KPIs.

About you:

• Ability to analyse operational data and translate findings into practical outcomes.
